sunroof drain location

I suspect that my sunroof drain lines are clogged. Would someone know where the drain lines exit the body on a BMW '84 318i. Thanks! Jan

I have the same year car. I am not sure where they are, but have you tried to force air through them from the top while someone is looking under the car. That might force what garbage is in them. But if you don't have an air source readily available I am cleaning mine this week end after being painted I will do a check and will let you know.

sunroof drain

Thanks Ben! I have all sorts of auto and aircraft repair tools. I've tried pouring water into partially opened sunroof on dry day and look for water under car, inside care to no avail. Possibly you may have more luck.

I think there are two holes...one right front and one left rear???? not sure though. As I recall I cleaned the holes bt ramming some heavy gauge wire down until it popped out under the car....

Thanks! I'll intensify my search in those areas this weekend. I don't like being stumped on the simple stuff.
