E30 turbos: why not more interest
 

I just can't shake the urge to turbo my E30 and can't figure why my mania is so unpopular. Take a very clean $4k car, add $1K of chassis improvements $5K turbo system and you'd have $25K car performance. I have to think lots of members have considered the idea and apparently dismissed it for some reason. So my question is why did you decide to NOT turbo your E30?

One word - Cost.

I simply would rather spend the money (if I had some) preparing the car for road racing.

Do you know Todd Dehate at TCD in Columbus. He's one of the best at providing turbo kits. I saw his E30 turbo 5rfeat last summer it was bad to the bone.
