stiffer ride
Okay the paint job is done now I just need to make my aging 1984 318 ride like my Boxster S. Well at least come close to it. So calling all suspension expert. What type of coil over can I get for my 1984 318. I am riding on some touring tires rigth on 16 7 1/2 Borbet wheels I would like to lower it and stiffen the ride abit close to how my Boxster S ride.

not an expert, (on cars anyway...boats? i'm game). i believe h&r offers them, but i haven't seen bilstein or koni offer them. turner motorsports has the h&r's, but they're pricey. i'm not sure about a porsche-like ride, but i installed the Vogtland sport suspension setup (google them) last year, they use koni sports (yellow) for most of they're kits with in-house springs. the ride is firm yet comfortable, and if i'm feeling frisky, i just crank down the front shocks to full stiff, but the rears must be removed to adjust. can't complain. you want really stiff? go for the bilstein HD and pretty much any spring combo. just not adjustable. hope this helps some.
