u-joint replacement
Got a new guibo along with my center support bearing. In stalled the center support bearing before the guibo came in and my 325is still vibrates, actually more frequent than before. Mechanic told me that it is probably my u-joints. Anyone know of a place that replaces them for a good price in San francisco area. Maybe it's time to rework the whole driveshaft. I have a new Meyle u-joint but it seems like something I shouldn't be doing without experience. Has anyone done the u-joint replacement themselves?

just curious - did you (or your mechanic) make sure the driveshaft was properly balanced when it was reinstalled? typically, you mark both sides of the driveshaft before seperating and then reinstall with the marks lined up.
i figure you've probably done this, but hey - that's something easy to verify and might save some money! I've done guibo/driveshaft/center support bearing before, but never u-joints....
