Annoying little knob
1987 325is - my A/C belt is very difficult to remove even though I have slackened off all bolts that hold the A/C pump & hoses. Looking underneath the car, I can see there is a knob or bolt in the pump housing that is hitting against the block, stopping the pump from pivoting around. Anyone else had this problem? Maybe I was given the wrong belt - it is so VERY to get on / off.

Go to www.realoem.com/bmw and look a the support bracket as well as the compressor for correct bolts and parts.
