92 325i wont start

I recently had to replace my radiator because the post where the upper hose attached to the radiator broke off. I had been having overheating issues which might have been caused by this fault. I followed all the instructions from Wayne's amazing book, got the new radiator in and attached all the hoses. When I tried to start the car, it wouldn't. The engine is turning but not catching.
What could be the reason for this? HELP!

How long was the car down? I would start with the battery.

Does it make any noises? Engine turn over strong? Did you replace or remove anything besides the radiator?

The car was down for 3 days. The interior lights are still bright, not dim and there are no unusual sounds. When I turn the ignition, it tries to start but never gets going. Both the alternator and starter motor are less than a year old.
Is it possible there are wet wires that would prevent the car from starting?

Thanks

Wet or loose wires might be the problem, is the ignition module close to the radiator, perhaps that got wet, or the ignition wires themselves? Try to get it totally dry by using compressed air.

Does the fuel pump buzz for a couple of seconds when you turn the ignition on, this is best heard with the doors and bonnet open.

Describe "tries to start but never gets going". Does it have trouble turning over or does it turn over strong but does not fire?

Check for power at the relay and at the pump.
