Removing power moonroof???
Looking for some help with removing the moonroof cover once it is opened and no battery power. Lost key and unable to close. I would like to take it out completely. Car is a 95' 318is Any info would be appreciated.

To close it, pry the sun roof switch panel off CAREFULLY (the plastic tabs break easily) exposing the operator. Put the hex key that should be in your tool kit, into the motor shaft and turn it. If you still have your manual, it covers it.. Don't know the size of the allen but its metric. As for the sun roof you take the phillips screws out of the track when it is open. it comes out pretty easy.
