Air Bag light is on & No horn

The airbag light stays on all the time... and the horn does not work... Where do i start looking to fix the problem??? I dont think anything with the steering column has been unplugged and i dont know where or which fuse to check... ANY ADVICE???

slip ring (#2 in pic) inside the steering wheel is bad. I had this happen a coupla months ago @ 150k miles. SRS light on on dash and horn gone. Clicking or crunching when you turn the wheel. Check the codes. You will get a low voltage code for the SRS IIRC. I found a used replacement. easy fix if you turn wrneches.

I might have one in a spare steering wheel I got on here a while back. Ill check in the garage in the am if you are interested unless you want to go new ($160).

SRS Light

SCOTITUDE is right on, it is the clock spring and I had to replace one on my '88 750 and the company did one on my '96 Caravan, problem solved

I will look into that.... My steering is not stiff nor does it make any noise, then again it could be just COMPLETLY shot
