Turning a Automatic into a Manual.
 
I'm buying a shell that I want to turn into my dream car (E30 325i), problem is that I want a manual and the car is a automatic, is the swap easy.

The swap is not easy and definitely not cheap.

It shouldn't be hard to find the info on the web. What do you consider easy?

My 15 yr old son just finished this swap last night, his first car project! It is a pain (mostly due to inaccessable bolts), but doable with patience...I think he learned a lot. My help was limited to breaking bolts loose and guidance. It is straight forward to swap them out.
