Armrest in e36 convertible

I have just got hold of an armrest for my 98 e36 convertible and cannot figure how to fit it. The car did not originaly come with an armrest so will it fit. I can't figure out where it bolts down too. Any Ideas?

Rob

Rob,
I once thought of installing same in my 95 318 convertible. I bought and returned the unit because the color matched was to the darker beige not the lighter color of the seats. Anyway there are four screws that the bracket must be drilled into the floor tunnel left and right for support. They were in German. You should look at how one was installed in another car and try to get the instructions from BMW parts.
