Sway bar links e30
 

Hi everyone, I'm contemplating lowering my 90 325is, I've replaced all the suspension items, control arms & bushings, sway bar links (fronts). I'm going to replace the springs H&R or ? 1.25 lower, now do I need different sway bar links? or will the new originals still work, thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure that your links will still work okay, there should be enough clearance above them to accommodate your lowering. Check full suspension travel though too, as when you go over a bump, the links will now be placed further up into the chassis...

Should be fine.

You aren't changing the range of motion of the suspension just the static position. The swaybars and link are designed to fit even with the suspension bottomed out and that position will not change.

If you put in aftermarket sway bars thats a different situation.

Hey thanks for the info, I ordered the new bushings from Pelican Parts, my next step is get the right springs to lower the car apprx 1.25, thanks, RT.

The PSS9 system does that well, but it's very pricey...
