Help with thermostat housing M20
hi I have a 1990 325is. The pressed in fitting on the bottom of the thermostat housing has come loose and is leaking coolant. To remove the housing do I have to remove the fuel rail?

Not sure about the fitting you are describing, but last year when I replaced my timing belt, I replaced the thermostat as well. I did not have to even touch the fuel rail.
