E36 Windshield Wiper Problem

I have a problem with the passenger side wiper. It does not return to the resting position after I switch the wipers off. The driver's side wiper also moves very slow but the passenger side wiper works perfect. Any ideas on the problem. I guess the wiper motor is OK since they technically still work. Thanks.

If it is not an alignment issue and if you have the technical ability to remove the old one I bet the rods off the motor are bent or the ball and socket joints are worn. I'll send you a new unit that works for $25 plus shipping. It's a time consuming job so start early on a Saturday

You might consider taking the motor apart and inspecting it.
