Leak from steering rack
Hi everybody,
Old car (318 is -1996) & new problem: leak of ATF from steering rack. What can be done except putting a replacement rack? Regards, Jakumi |

If your steering rack is indeed leaking, than there is not much you can do other than rebuild or replace it. I would, however, take a good look around to be sure that the leak is not coming from one or several of the P/S hoses (much cheaper option).
