Shift Knob Insert (inside knob)
Can anyone post a pic of what the little piece of plastic that holds the shift knob to the shifter looks like. I pulled my knob off as it was loose and notice the piece of plastic that prevents the knob from rotating has become brittle and crumbled to many pieces. If I can see what that piece looks like, maybe I can jib something using wood so the knob won't rotate when installed. Thanks!

It looks like the opposite of the top of the shift lever. Picture the top of the shift lever as a big flat headed screw. The knob has the screwdriver blade inside. You broke the tip of your screwdriver off.
