ABS/Stability Control Lites ON
Have a 98 e36 is w/ a buck 30 on her. Dashboard indicators are constantly on now. Were intermittent before. I know I've lost these safety functions. Have not done anything to cause this, I think. Any advise is mucho appreciated. Thank you.

The part of that system that takes the most abuse is the sensors that are located at the front wheels and outboard of the differential.
The first thing I would do is pull off the front wheels and run the back up on ramps and inspect the sensors and the wire leads to the sensors. The sensors should all be about the same distance form their toothed wheels and the toothed wheels should be straight and undamaged. |
