Check panel brake light
Does the check panel brake light have anything to do with the brake fluid reservoir level?

Do you mean a text message on the on-board computer? If so, that is not related to fluid. What is the message?

Does it say Brake Light Failure? If so it's an easy fix, the socket is worn and they wiggle lose, even after multiple adjustmenst mine kept coming lose and giving me this warnining. The solution was simple, I used a soldering gun and put just a drop of solder on each metal tab on the socket, this gave it a very snug fit when reinstalled . - might as well do both sides since will eventually need it and this really is only a 5 minute fix.
