So I am in the early stages(read: removal of m20b23) of removing my old engine for something with a bit more juice. I received what appears to be a good deal on a hybrid stroker motor in exchange for the stock b23 that has 150k on it.
2.7L engine: * 1988 325e bottom end * 325i cylinder head(rebuilt) * 325i intake manifold * 325i exhaust manifolds Just have some basic questions. 1. The car is a 1985 euro 323i, 5 speed transmission(getrag 240). Does this transmission bolt up to the 2.7 block without issue? What do I do for clutch/flywheel/etc? I'm not as concerned about it holding the power right now. 2. I understand the 323i uses L-Jetronic ecu, and the 2.5/2.7 use motronic. Is the harness swap from motronic from jetronic pretty straight forward?
