e36 fuel filter location /no speaker sound
This is my first e36 and I can not find the fuel filter to change it and I can not get any sound out of any speaker although I've checked my radio (kenwood Cd player) in a different car and it works fine. Is there any factory mute or could there be an amp somewhere that need some power. thanks in advance, hushpuppy

Don't have time to think about the radio problem at the moment, but this link to my web page should help with fuel filter.

thanks for the reply, I thought that I looked by the steering column, but did not see the filter. My car is a 94 e36 convertible, and the filter is a one in, one out type, the same as e30s

It's under the car by the driver side hidden beneath a plastic cover by the unibody rail close to the transmission.
