Its back again :(
Hey guys, 97 M3
shes running really poorly again, and VERY RICH as well, my car is not white any more its BLACK same symptoms as before ( drives ok up to 60% throttle, then after that shes missing on 4 5 and 6 cyc,) so it is still the O2 simulator and wiring issue down there..... I did a repair on the wire running from the O2 simulator to the wiring harness under the intake manifold... reached up as far as my arm would squeez in there and soddered a new wire in,,, worked great for about 3 weeks, then shes back to the same problems,,, im at school so i havent had a chance to really get under the car, but the wire looks fine, doesnt look like the o2 fried this one,,, im just thinking it fried the rest of it ( the wire i couldnt get to ) that goes all the way up and dissappears into the wiring harness what do you guys think??? ill be ripping my intake manifold out to go after it, should i have a junk yard cut the wiring harness for that o2 out and send it to me or should i just continue with my wire and pray to god it works,,, ps it gets worse with moisture.. probably a grounding issue thanks for your thoughts in advance |

Just thought of something,,,
my aux fan is not working because the female end of the temp prob coming out of the radiator( which ive heard is what turns the aux fan on) isnt hooked up correctly ( somethings broken, either the temp prob end or the female end in the wiring is broken either or.... would this not being hooked up make the car think its always cold????? she s still running Super rich,, dont think its the MAF,,, it would have thrown a code by now for once the check engine light isnt doing its job,, its not on and the car is runnning like crap......... extremely frustrated,, m3 s should be fun any ideas guys |
