My car is running better than it has in a long time, but I am getting a gasoline smell in the engine compartment. I have looked everywhere for a leak aned can't find one. I am wondering about the fuel vapor purge valve and the charcoal canister. If the purgevalve is stuck open, Would it leak odors into the throttle body when the engine is off? Anyone hads any experience with this? I have not worked on the vapor recovery system.
