My 98' BMW 323IC ABS light is on and I have replaced the sensors on all the wheels. The car is also equipped with Traction control which does not work. what do i need to do to get it working.

I presume that you have searched the web, but I saw a detailed post once from someone much smarter than I, who opened up his traction control module and replaced a failed component, in a '96 as I recall. The description was similar to the descriptions of fixing the climate control module. Sorry that I don't recall where I saw the post.
There is a shop in Southern Calif that specializes in repairing failed ABS modules. My brother in law sent the module from his S70 Volvo and had it back and working in a week. I could email him and ask if he remembers the name, but he found the shop by searching on the web. |

Try the brake pedal travel sensor. A few years ago I also tried to replace all four wheel sensors, but a simple replacement of this sensor fixed my abs. BTW, neither abs or asc (traction control) will function if your abs light is on. The sensor is on the brake booster.
