Automatic transmission fluid change

Hell.
I have a 95 318ti, automatic trans.
The BEST commuter car I have ever had.

I understand the trans is closed / sealed / "lifetime"

Any info on how I could drain and refill the AUTO trans ?
What oil would I use ?

It's not sealed. Typical to that of most cars. Long pan near the oil sump. Many, many bolts hold it in place. When replacing, just get a new gasket and filter for it and use sealant suitable for that.

Here's an article by Wayne Dempsey from his book:

Hope that helps you.
