90 325i (speedometer malfunctioning)

Hi,
My speedometer is malfuctioning, in the lower speed is is anywhere from 5 to 10 miles per hour fast but when i get into higher speeds such as 50 mph it'll read 80mph on the speedo. I dont know how to solve this problem and i was looking for some advice

On the back of the differential you'll see a plug with two wires.
That is the Speed Sensor. It is a trick to get to even when raised of the ground.
Two things you could do to fix the speedo problem; one is to take the Sensor out and clean all the gunk off of it, or just replace it. Pelican has this part.
