I have a 1995 U.S. spec M3 with the 3.0L and just got the Signature Motoring performance intake kit. When I ordered they asked if it was 3.0L or 3.2L, said something about the intake hole. Does the 3.2L 1995 model or later use a different larger AFM? Can I upgrade? My AFM intake is about 3-inches.
By the way, nothing but praise for the intake kit, it howls and added 6.4HP at the rear wheels which means something over 11 at the crank as advertised. Once I got the stock airbox out, it was a "drop-in" install quite literally. Shown at
