E36 heater fan trouble
I have 1993 E36 in which heater fan does not work; worked yesterday, not today; doesn't work at any speed; all fuses ohm okay, swapped relays around, still no fan; also noticed the outside air temp indicates minus 35 'F; although I live in Wisconsin, not quite that cold yet; Any ideas what my problem may be?

There is a fan speed relay, Resistor pack, secondary stage relay. they have several names for it. It is in the dash, just above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. above the hump. You can folow the wires from the fan speed controler to it. It could be the culpret. Hope so, I have a 93 ad I have changed both the relay and the motor. The relay is easy. the motor will have you apologising to the allmighty.
