Help! No start/no crank

So I changed the LCA'S, let it sit for the night and ran some errands the next day. No problem. Went to start the car the following day and no crank. Dash lights come on but nothing from the starter. Charged the batttery and tried starting while moving the A/T through the gears but still nothing. Then the freakin shifhter cable broke. I pulled the shifter assembly out and replaced the cable and per the Bentley manual tested the neutral safety switch. I'm getting power to the green wires so I'm thinking its the switch. Any other suggestions?
Also the switch is held down by 2 hex bolts but the shift interlock lever sits about 1/4" right over the forward one. I can't get a hex wrench in it and figure out how to get the lever off to access the bolt. Repair manual only says remove the 2 bolt and none of the diagrams shows the interlock lever or even mentions it. Any input would be appreciated.
