Type of Flywheel

I have a 1987 325 that I got as a hand me over.....

I have to replace the clutch, and would like to know how to determine whether or not it has a dual mass flywheel. The car has a/c as I just read this may be the determining factor.

I searched to try to find the answer, however had no luck.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

flywheel

It could be either..only way to tell is to remove the transmission and clutch and have a look!

Removing the trans is pain in the ass job to do if you are working with the car on jack stands and leaving the engine in situ! I'd almost prefer to remove the engine and trans as lump and work on the thing from there!
