I got a 97 m3 sedan it has a cylinder six miss fire the coil works. It has Idle air malfunction code. Icv code. Just codes in that category. The thing is I have replace the secondary air pump, the icv, the maf, all the gaskets, no leaks. There were times the car didn't even wanna crank, also times that the rev limiter would only go up to 3.5 k. Could this be the dme?

I'm not sure how you can tell it has a misfire in cylinder six? If the coil is not operating properly, then you would surely get a code saying so. If you've already checked everything, then perhaps the problem is indeed with the DME or the wire harness. Although a problem with the wire harness *should* trigger some codes that would show faults with the sensors or the coils.
