Tail-shaft Knock 1992 E36 325i

Had the car for six months and there is a tail-shaft knock that has become worse and worse over time.

it only would only come on when I was accelerating from a standing start and only in low gear (It is a manual gearbox) now it is nearly there all the time.

the knock can be heard from both the front and the rear but not at the same time (sounds like it comes from the C/V's at the front and rear of the shaft)

looking for advice in a parts list to repair this issue..
