Hi wonder if u could help I have just put a 2.5 non vanos that came out a 92 coupe and put in a 94 316 compact but have trouble gettin it started it cranks and got fuel but no spark ? Can u help is this a ews problem ? Cheers

If you swapped the DME and didn't swap out the EWS / immobilizer parts, then the car will not start (if it has that alarm installed). I think it won't even crank though if it's an EWS issue - sounds like a crank angle sensor or something like that is disconnected - try seeing if it is pushing out any fault codes?
