318ti strange miss fire
Hi,
New to the site, hope you can help with my problem. My '98 318ti compact has a miss fire, and I've narrowed it down to only happening when it has more than a 3rd of a tank of fuel. Recently ran it up the m6, found it to be running on 3 cylinders, until it was down to 1/4 tank, pulled over a number of time to re-start the car, and only started firing on all 4 once it was low on fuel. Should point out we've tried - Plugs, Coil, Injector cleaner, super unleaded to no avail. Hope someone has some ideas, we're stumped!! Thanks in advance - Rach. |
