how do you remove the abs sensor?
 
Hi,
my car 1996 328i.
I am working on the front suspensions and the abs sensor look fragile. after I remove the allan screw, should I pull straight out or twist. I t looks like a oval shape. I am afraid to pry on it.
please help,

Put a pliers on it and twist it back and forth. Slowly kind of unsrew it out. There kind of a ***** but they will come. Clean the hole out with a wire brush on a drill before you put it back on after you apply a dollup of antisieze. Whenever you have cylinderical object that fuses into a hole, like a plug on to a old plug wire you always twist it off. You might try a thin bladed screw driver as wedge to intially loosen the sensor.
