Distributor Grease
Hey does anyone know what distributor grease does and if it's needed? I am replacing my distributor and cap on my 89 BMW 325i and came across this grease on Pelican Parts. Should I order some?

The whole distributor, or cap and rotor?
Just cap and rotor, there is nothing to grease. If you are replacing the entire distributor, I can't say, Only had two BMW's that had distributors. I now for sure, the distributor outlasted one of the cars , might even be on someone elses car as far as I know. The other one has around 300k and still sparks. Bout 800 thousand miles and no grease.
