325is fan
I have owned a 1987 325is for 5 years, now has 150,000 miles. I plan to keep it for some time. It has been very reliable, I have swapped out the leather interior from a wrecked unit. I prefer it over the E36 due to weight and size. The confortti chip and k&n cone work quite well together.

What are the specs on that car? I know that the E36 model of the 318 (or was it the 325) weighed in at 2900+ lbs...

I also have an '87 325is and am in my 6th year of ownership. Mine has 241k miles on it and I just replaced the original clutch 9k miles ago. Other than regular maint., that has been my only big expense with this car. It is totally bulletproof and I'd have no hesitation about driving it to CA and back tomorrow.

Any problems you wish to share doing the clutch? I'm going to be doing a clutch article for E30 real soon...
