Manual Seat
1990 325i convertible driver side seat back won't recline. Control lever at seat bottom near left leg does nothing. Seat back will not move forward or backward. Does anyone have a repair solution.

Most likely, you will need to remove the seat from the car, and then open it up. It seems like the cables or linkages have broken.
