e30 front aluminum bumper removal

Can you provide me some assistance on how to remove the front aluminum bumper off a '88 325i? There doesn't seem to be enough space to get a tool in to undo the 4 nuts on the two shock absorbers. There are two bolts, that are perpendicular to the bumper, facing the ground. Do they need to come off as well?

Thanks!!

Should just be 2 x 13mm nuts to remove from each bracket on the rear of the bumper itself.

I use a 1/4 drive ratchet, with a short extension. Its a bit fiddly but works. Standing (or kneeling) in front of the car reach in from the top of the bumper and you should feel for the nuts you need to undo......locate the socket on them and with a bit of work, the whole thing will be off in a few minutes!

Donʻt you first have to remove the two allen bolts which you access from the two holes on the under side of the bumper? Then you can easily get to the bumper shock bolts.
