1998 M3 - clock and date and time not working

I'm sure this is fairly common. would appreciate any advice as to what connection, switch or fuse should be replaced.

Is it working but dark, or illuminated but not showing correct numbers? The bulbs across the top of the display often burn out. They cost about $6 each and are easy to replace.

Hi Manolito - thanks for the reply. It's neither working and dark or showing the wrong numbers. It's dead. The other devices on the other screen - the one to the left of the time/date screen = ext temp, average consumption, miles left in the tank, check system - all work. Still think it might be the bulb?
If so, I'll def buy one. - Ian

This shows how to get to the bulbs.

But usually when a bulb fails, you can still make out the numbers, they are just dark.
