Breather Hose Connector at Valve Cover, E36 325i
I'm working on a 94 325i BMW. The Breather Hose Connector at Valve Cover, E36 325i has two hoses attached. The larger one goes under the intake manifold and into the crankcase. The smaller hose (about 1/8" id) appears to have been cut. It comes off the valve at a 45 deg angle and points down. Fumes come out the hose when engine is running. Can anyone tell me where the hose attaches to?

The small hose attaches to the underside of the intake manifold. The large hose should go under the intake manifold and connect to the underside of the large rubber intake elbow. The large hose vents the gasses from the engine to the intake when the throttle valve is open and the small hose vents at idle (Throttle closed)
the gasses are then re introduced to the engine to be burned in the combustion chamber.
