1996 318ti door locks and dome light

Trying to determine cause of following lock and dome light problem.

1. Dome light switch in middle position, but light stays on, does not fade out.
2. Power door lock button on center console does not work.
3. Car will central lock/unlock by turning key in driver's door lock only.
4. Car will not central lock from trunk or passenger door.

I looked at the hatch wiring and found no bare wires. Hatch light switch works properly but probably will replace. Would like to isolate problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem: anybody has hints?

This is the rear door switches for the dome light, located on the door jams. It's working properly but jiggling the door open, keeping the switch pressed, will cause the dome light to turn on. Strangely, if I lock the car with that door open (this is the solution for the moment), car will lock properly, even thou the switch is not being pressed.

Thanks everybody

Looks like it's the door harness' fault. Anybody has a clue on what to check? Which specific wires maybe? Thanks a lot
