Angry blowing fuses

i have a 1993 BMW 325is and it is blowing fuses, turn signals and brake lights. doesn't appear to be the relays. please help me solve this mystery.

This is not going to make sense, since neither the brake or turn signal systems go to the trunk lid, but check the wires that run through the trunk lid hinge area. Pull back the sleve and check for damaged wires. When those wires start breaking and shorting together, all kinds of crazy electrical problems seem to flare up.

We haven't seen the sun here in almost a week, but it is suppose to shine tomorrow and I will be checking those wires then. Thanks Manolito.
