93 325is Clutch Problem ?

Have a 93 325is 5-speed manual.....when I put into reverse, it pops out of gear, can hold it in and it will stay but will not without holding, also, all gears work fine except the 2nd gear, does not what to go into gear at times.....never had any work done on clutch, cylinder or slave cylinder.....before I spend alot of money, any ideas on what needs to be done.....clutch peddle is very "sloppy" in my terms, weak and has to go all the way to the floor to change gears.....just any thoughts or idea would help..thanks.

Try bleeding both master and slave clutch cylinders. This is the least invasive and cheapest approach and if it doesn't resolve the gear problem you are having - you have nothing to lose.
