Hi, I am having a problem with my e30 and i think it might be the CPS.. It wants to start sometimes and when it does it holds idle for 1 second.. I can spray starter fluid and it will go.. so I'm kinda confused. Could this be a CPS issue?

If it runs when you add fuel, then engine has spark. This would tell me the crankshaft sensor is fine. The I would check if you are missing fuel pressure or fuel injector pulse.
