Hi Pelicans!

I've just dumped a 325i M50 engine in my E36 and it "purrs" well, except I need to find a spot for my o2 sensor. What would happen if you put it in a x-manifold plug, so it just reads on 3 of the 6 cylinders? would that make any difference? else i will have to cut open and weld the exhaust somewhere and I don't have the tools for that.

thanks alot for great articles

If the 02 is reading one bank, it will only be providing feedback control for one bank. Therefore if a fuel delivery issue develops on the other cylinders, the DME will not be able to compensate.
