I performed this installation, and while I was frustrated with the time it took to get started - there was no way I could get/see the parts to remove without removing view impeding objects I removed the Catalyt convertors – which took over an hour, and then trying start the removal process, this became Much Much easier once I decided to remove the exhaust system, and heat shielding. I intended to remove the drive shaft, but after attempting to remove the bolts from the gearbox, I found I just didn't have the leverage while the car is on floor stands maybe from a car hoist. Anyway, with the exhaust and heat shielding removed, it was only another hour and reassembly was underway. I didn't have any trouble with the pin secured at the top of the gearbox – with the photos and explanation it was a snap! I had the car back together and drove it 600kms yesterday, and I have to say, feckin' WoW! What an amazing difference – the gearbox is now accurate, tight and fast.
