problems with the windshield wiper system..I need your help guys..

I just turned on the wiper yesterday while driving and when I finally switched off the wiper, it won't stop! So I temporarily removed the fuse for the wiper to shut it down. Can you help me out guys? What should I do? :confused: Im using a 1998 BMW 320i by the way..
