Do you guys use Teflon Tape on the threads of the CTS before installing it? I will be installing mine here in the next few days just purchased it from you guys, as well as the ignition overhaul kit and was wondering if you guys would recommend it, or its not necessary? Also, the CTS seems to be a tight fit on the later model m20b25 1990 325i. Any recommendations on easiest way to remove the CTS for the late models? The write up appears to cover early models where the thermostat housing and CTS's are far more accessible. Thanks!

Not necessary. Housing gets too hot for teflon and it will likely burn. It's a brass fitting so the crushed metal threads will form the seal. <i>- Kerry at Plican Parts </i>
