Hello, CAn any one tell me if the trouble codes can be accessed and reset on my 1999 323I sedan using a standard code scanner like Actron or Eqauss sells ? Does it have the standard OBDII connector ? IF so WHERE is it on the car ?? If I need a special scanner and special cables ?? can you tell me EXACTLY what KIND or BRAND and WHAT cables or adapters I need to read and reset the codes on my 323i ? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can access the standard OBD-II info and codes from the connector located under the dash, left side, just above or slightly to the left of the driver's left knee. There's a small cover that you can unlatch with a coin. The OBD connector is there.
