Hi, I have a 1995 318i with 295,000km on it. Today I was driving and noticed my car stereo was cutting in and out and when I turned off the heater fan it fixed it. Then the check engine and ABS light came on. Then the stereo quit and the heater fan was slowing down and lights were dimming. I realized it must be alternator as I have a new battery however no warning light came on for that? I've checked the belt and it turns. Does it sound like an alternator even though no warning or something else? Thanks
