Thumbs down oil in compression chamber

This past week I changed the ignition coils, spark plugs, and spark plug connectors (boots) in my 1995 325is. There was a small amount of oil in spark plugs 3 & 5 and I accidentally let some get into the hole of the spark plug when I took the plugs out. I continued to replace all the old connectors, plugs, and coils but upon starting it up the car had trouble turning over and sounded awful. The car has been feeling rough and running poorly ever since. It is significantly slower and has less torque than prior to this. Sometimes when starting from a stop it feels as if the engine has no throttle response or is "held back" and non responsive. Also the engine sounds like it is sucking in air louder than previously but I have not changed anything else on the car. Upon starting the car struggles significantly harder than previously. Its been a week that the car has been running like this, is there anything I can try to do to fix this?
